CBB Savings A Woman – Savings account designed for women

Women can gain financial independence and security by having separate savings accounts, making them more confident and empowered in their financial decisions.

Features:

9. Priority assessment of loan applications and lower bank service charge on loans (discount rate of 1% to 1.5% p.a. but subject to Board approval)

11. Free medical services, participation in GAD awareness, capacity building and related trainings (chargeable to Community Development Fund Annual Plan) (mental health, mammogram, blood cholesterol, sugar level, blood pressure)

a) Interest rate of 1.25% p.a.

b) Opening balance of P1,000.00

c) Maintaining balance of P1,000.00

d) Average daily balance to earn interest P10,000.00

e) Interest earned shall be charged with a withholding tax of 20%.

f) Not subject to documentary stamp tax as this is a savings account.

g) Account can be used as security to salary or business loans at a high assignment rate of 90% of outstanding balance but not less than P25,000.00

h) Not valid for transfer from existing basic or savings accounts, must be a new account from fresh funds or existing time deposit accounts to save on pre-termination and doc stamps share on the part of the clients in cases they needed funds any time before the maturity period .

i) If existing regular or basic savings clients, new account can be opened 1 month after its closure or significant withdrawal (amount opened is 50% or more of its closed or withdrawn amount.)

j) Those with ADB of minimum of P50,000.00 can avail of feature no. 11 at the schedule specified by the bank’s Corporate Service Responsibility (CSR) plan for the year.

k) Maximum deposit insurance with PDIC is P500, 000.00 per depositor.

l) Charges:

Below maintaining balance – P200.00 per month

Closed account within 30 days– P250.00

Lost passbook – P300.00

m) Dormancy – Account will become dormant if no deposit and withdrawal transaction for two (2) years. Dormant accounts shall not earn interest.

n) Qualified to open an account:

Individual accounts only

– At least 18 years old

– Filipino citizen

– If, foreigner with passport and one of the following:

            – Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)

            – Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV)

            – Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV)

Deposits are insured by PDIC up to ₱500,000 per depositor.
